New Penthouse with 360 degree views of the Paris

Just few days ago, Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris introduces a new penthouse suite designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon and offering 360 degree views of the Paris city.

With six terraces offering a 360 degree view of Paris and 160 square metres (1,630 square feet) of pure luxury, this new Penthouse offers a romantic hideaway among Paris rooftops. The understated, light and airy interior architecture puts the emphasis on open and elegant spaces. The soft tones of the travertine flooring are reflected in the walls decorated with sycamore and majilite, while the beautiful floral arrangements created by Jeff Leatham, the Hotel’s Artistic Director, create a sense of home the moment one opens the door.

Among the great surprises of the Penthouse Suite is the elegant winter garden, decorated in floral fabric and separated from the living room by a wrought iron door. At any time of the day or night it is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or drink while overlooking the Invalides, the American Cathedral and Eiffel Tower. The terrace, shaped like the bow of a ship, provides an even wider view of the City of Light: the roofs of the Madeleine, the Opera and the Pantheon are at one’s feel while the Eiffel Tower seems so close one almost touch it. From the terrace, steps lead to an intimate upper balcony perched even higher on the roof, where guests can enjoy a last glass of Champagne and savour the shimmering Eiffel Tower. The bedroom with its own terrace is a new invitation to peacefulness. An elegant four-poster daybed invites to the most romantic nap perched high above the hustle and bustle of Paris.

Luxury penthouse apartment in Australia

The luxury interior of penthouse apartment Royal Penthouse II was designed by Australian design studio Coco Republic. The three bedroom penthouse is located right on Newcastle Beach and the architects does a great job. According to the architects: “Over a five month period the contemporary Australian penthouse was transformed into its current state. Soft natural materials of timber, stone, washed linens and jute combined to achieve a light, soft palette that offers easy living, whilst referencing the coastal environment beyond in a harmonious way.”

Just sold: Miami’s Most Expensive Home for $25 Million

How to make 15 million in three years: Alex Birkenstock, a member of the family that controls the German shoe company Birkenstock, bought 7,400-square-foot penthouse in Miami for $9.9 million in 2009. Now, after three years he sell it for $25 million to an Italian.

$25 million, a record price for a Miami-area apartment, ($21.5 million was the previous record five months before).

During those years the apartment has been used for movie and music video filming and rented out for about $20,000 a day (not bed all all…)
Now who can tell me that real estate is not a good business anymore?

The penthouse is on the 40th to 42nd floors in the Continuum towers, has five bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms and 6,000 square feet of outdoor space across six terraces, and includes a private pool and an internal elevator. It was not listed on the market and Italian buyer plans to use the penthouse as a second home when he is not in Europe.
