You should visit Italy at least one time in your life! A tour in Rome is a must to feel the history, but if you want a relaxation travel you should take a look at Apulia (Italian: Puglia) region of Italy. Apulia bordering the Adriatic Sea in the east, the Ionian Sea to the southeast, and the Strait of Òtranto and Gulf of Taranto in the south.
My recommendation for accommodation in Apulia goes to Villa Bianca, a six bedroom luxury property with 590 square meters.

Budapest, the capital of Hungary, offer good sightseeing for tourists. I just return from a three days luxury travel to Budapest and in below article I’ll give you an overview of this city.

First let me answer to the popular question “Is Budapest better than Vienna?”. I like more Budapest than Vienna because superb views of the Danube. Also, I found nice luxury hotels in Budapest along the River with breathtaking views and outstanding services. And I spend less in Budapest than in Vienna…

For this article, Luxury Travel in Budapest, I choose to stay three nights in three different luxury hotels in Budapest:
Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge and Boscolo Budapest – Autograph Collection (you can read below my reviews for each of them). I select those luxury hotels based on the best reviews and ratings and also availability.

Isn’t impossible to visit all top 10 attractions in Budapest in only 3 days as Budapest has its history all around. Of course if the weather is good. Also the food is delicious and you should try both good restaurants and popular ones (like the one from the Central Market Hall).

The currency in Hungary is Forint (1000 Hungarian forints = 4.5051 US dollars). I would not recommend to change USD/EURO at hotel desk because rate exchange is not good. Search for a bank or a specialized stores called Foreign Exchange Bureaus (there are a lot in Budapest)

Thassos (Thasos) is the northernmost Greek island. It is not an expensive place to visit but you can find luxury resorts on Thassos Island. Also, your efforts will be rewarded with breathtaking mountain scenery and beautiful beaches.

One of them, the unique Marble Beach of Thassos, is amazing because white sand and white marble pebbles.

The local name of Marble Beach is Saliara Beach and few years ago it was a wild beach. Moreover, it was like a secret of Thassos to preserve its beauty. Now, it is ready to welcome visitors and we was there to see this wonder of Thassos.

You cannot find a proper Marble Beach Thassos map and even the Marble Beach location is hard to find… The last 3KM road to the beach looks like an ancient road and our car complain about road conditions each minute of the trip… The good side is that when we finally arrive to the Marble Beach we magically forgot about road or other problems… The marble all over the beach and the water has a unique white-blue color. It is breathtaking.

Marble Beach review conclusions

The good: Impressive beach with amazing view, clear water and unique sand.
Nice decorations on the beach.
You can drink a coffee or a coke in a fancy beach bar
The bad: Bad road to the beach, no restaurants, shops or hotels near·by.
The bottom line: If you plan a trip to Thassos you should visit Marble Beach for a morning.
