Bang & Olufsen Opens New Location in Bethesda, Maryland
Today, Bang & Olufsen open a new showroom in Bethesda, Maryland. The new Bang & Olufsen Wilson Lane showroom will provide the complete Bang & Olufsen product portfolio in addition to the newly launched sister brand – B&O PLAY.
“We are happy to announce the grand opening of the new Wilson Lane showroom,” states Torsten Severtson, Manager of B&O Wilson Lane. “The new, urban showroom presents an open two-level 1800 square foot space that is 50% larger than the previous location on Woodmont Avenue. We believe it presents a modern, industrial look and feel that is ideal for showcasing the striking Bang & Olufsen portfolio.”
The new Wilson Lane showroom will be the first US showroom to present the newly announced Playmaker, a receiver that streams music wirelessly from any smart phone to ones dedicated B&O loudspeakers. It can stream music from practically any smart phone, tablet, MAC, PC or media server. Additionally, Playmaker possesses a second-to-none sound performance as it features a high performance Digital Audio converter that is specified for even the most powerful B&O speakers.
