Kempinski unveiled its 19th mainland hotel today in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. As the first international five-star hotel in the city, Kempinski presents brand new luxurious concepts through modern facilities, a contemporary hotel that blends European flair with Chinese tradition.
Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan is It is close to the city’s main shopping centres, such as Tianmei Plaza, Fashion Walk, Wangfujing, Parkson and Lufthansa Centre, as well as upscale office buildings. It is only three kilometres away from Shanxi International Exhibition Centre and a 20-minute drive to reach the international airport.
The hotel features 363 rooms and suites, all of which are contemporarily designed and range from 40 to 217 sqm in size. Each room is equipped with a coffee machine, wooden floors, rainforest showers and bathtubs.
Located on the 30th floor and the 28th floor, respectively, the Executive Suites and Diplomatic Suites offer a separate living room and a sitting area, in addition to extra-large furnishings and bath amenities designed by French designer Blaise Mautin.
