ORSOS Island – $4.7 million artificial island
Can’t find your dream island? Take a look at ORSOS Island, an artificial island which can be yours for $4.7 million U.S. dollars.
The main advantage is that you can move your island where ever you want and transform it in a tropical island or in a paradise island. Also, it is storms proof so you are safe on it.
The Island is over 20 meters wide and more than 37 meters in length, with about 400 m² on each floor, and up to 1,000 m² of living space.
Equivalent to six double rooms, the Island offers plenty of room for up to 12 residents and 4 crew members. ORSOS Island is powered, both day and night, by a blissfully noiseless wind energy system, as well as more than 120 m² of solar panels making the most use of daylight. Heat recovery from sea water is the basis for heating and air conditioning.
The main deck hosts a spacious living room and lounge. The large, built-in skylight not only provides most of the interior with natural light, but also ensures a constant supply of fresh air. You can, of course, regulate the lighting and air supply to meet your individual needs at any time.
The beautiful, exotic aquarium, located in the central interior, enchants one with its size and radiant hues.
In addition, you will find a small kitchenette with a bar and restaurant area, where residents and guests an easily whip up a snack or a sumptuous meal.
This space can be expanded by opening the doors to the adjoining terrace to create a large, combined relaxation and social area.

Daniel, of course that it is a ship at basic level, but it is different. it is a true artificial floating island.

It is just a pretentious setting and you can enjoy good natural environment by just sitting on the beach without putting in a man-made structure that does not go well with the natural setting. Enjoyment comes with the heart.

Dear Flora, it is so true! But, from my point of view, here is not about natural versus artificial. It is for all those that are in search for freedom, for an island of peace…
